BSI proudly supports WinteRace 2016

For the second year running, BSI is supporting the 2016 WinteRace, a high-profile winter racing event organised by Alte Sfere and sponsored by Senato della Repubblica and the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo. This edition will once again take place at the foot of the Dolomites, set against the magnificent backdrop of Cortina d’Ampezzo, from March 3rd through the 5th.
The WinteRace is an innovative contest that combines time trials with average speed trials, which most European races now feature. In addition, the fun, yet challenging trials take place on snowy and icy tracks that test the limits of participants and their cars (all of which rigorously built before 1976).

Focus, rigour, doggedness, team spirit, expertise, a strong passion and enthusiasm will all be necessary to reach the finish line—and BSI puts them to work every day to always provide the best possible service to its clients.

BSI’s commitment to the WinteRace is part of its broader efforts to promote sporting, economic, scientific and cultural events and projects supporting the communities it serves, either directly or through its foundations.
BSI supports initiatives in a wide range of areas: from classical music, with high-profile events such as the Marta Argerich Project, through contemporary art—the bank has a collection featuring works by world-class artists—and architecture, with a foundation and a biennial international award, to finance and international relations.

Established in Lugano in 1873, BSI is one of the oldest Swiss banks and specialises in Private Wealth Management with twenty offices across the globe, making it one of Switzerland’s leading private banking groups. BSI strives to establish and maintain long-term personal relationships with its clients, offering global asset management services and effective, high-quality products. It operates in the main international financial markets in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.
In Italy, the BSI group operates through the subsidiary of the Luxembourg-based bank BSI Europe S.A., 100%-owned by the BSI bank, as well as EOS Servizi Fiduciari S.p.A., a specialist static trust company that closely monitors the evolving regulatory framework to meet the needs of its clients, and BSI Merchant S.p.A., a boutique for corporate finance services. Furthermore, the BSI group relies on the wide-ranging expertise of the Parent Company and Patrimony 1873 S.A., a family office specialising in asset consolidation, global risk management, and consolidated reporting.
